The week before the weather forecast switched from epic thunderstorms to sunny and 75 degrees, and lucky for us it stayed that way. Beautiful weather allowed us to celebrate outside of the newly built barn. Thanks to amazing friends and family we arrived to beautifully set tables and cello playing from the second floor of the barn (Check out the Picture!). Seeing friends, family, and my soon to be husband instantly calmed my nerves and I couldn’t wait to celebrate. After a an amazing entrance of flower girls and ring bearers, our good friend and roommate of many years lead us through a beautiful ceremony and our vows. Then time to party! We snuck off some wonderful photo time with another close friend and amazing photographer Rachel Glidden (More of her work here).
Following photos we enjoyed local cheese, bread, confit, and more amazing treats from Woodbelly Pizza and then off to dance thanks to the amazing vibes of Them Apples Band (Book them for every event ever).
Cakes courtesy of my new sister-in-law and amazing Philly friend, Sarah wrapped up dinner on a sweet note. Lots of beer, homemade mead, and hard cider (also some amazing non-alcoholic kombucha from KIS Kombucha) helped get everyone onto the dance floor for the next few hours. I whispered to my dad “thank you, this is the best day of my life” and he looked back at me and said “There are so many more best days to come”.
All in all, the best day ever, thanks to a hundred talented and loving people who came together to make this day flawless and so much fun. So Much Love.
